PSNH

An employee of PSNH, has brought to our attention that they have been receiving reports from residents that they are getting messages from PSNH that inform them that they are going to be in the area checking meters. PSNH does not call people via telephone to inform them that they are going to be in the area. In a recent instance, one of the subjects who had received one of these messages, became the victim of a burglary in days shortly following receipt of the message. If you receive a call from PSNH about them coming out to check your meter remember that PSNH does not contact people via the telephone, also ,if you  receive this type of message please call the PD and  let us know.
